The Travelpayouts team returned from TBEX Europe 2025 with fingers aching \u2013 there were just so many brilliant insights to type up! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s no better way to understand what\u2019s happening in the blogging world than to spend a few days chatting with creators, brands, and experts. So we begged Eugenia, Alexandra, and Lisa to share their top three takeaways from Ireland\u2026 and after icing their hands, they agreed to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#1. AI is changing search, and the time to adapt is NOW<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The number-one topic in Letterkenny? AI, definitely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were especially struck by the fiery discussion at Nate Hake\u2019s session. Bloggers there said AI overviews are bringing them almost zero traffic<\/strong>, so Google is basically making them give up their content for free. And we can be pretty sure more AI-driven surprises are in store for us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How can bloggers adapt? Above all, diversify, diversify, diversify. Don\u2019t put all your eggs in the Google basket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#2. High engagement > lots of traffic<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Don\u2019t get us wrong: getting traffic is good. But at TBEX we met plenty of micro creators who still make a nice living from blogging. If you have even a small core of loyal fans, you can earn with community memberships, digital products, and merch in addition to affiliate links.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#3. YouTube and Flipboard might be your best moves<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When we tell partners to consider using social media to boost their blogs, they usually think of Instagram and Facebook first. But two great sessions in Letterkenny argued for a different approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
